The Bourbon American Legion Post #424 will host a Halloween party Friday, Oct. 31 with live music from Flipside from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and costume judging at 10 p.m. No cover charge and the public is we come — adults only.   
Costume party        

The Halloween Lions/Bourbon town party in Bourbon is Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:30  p.m.  There will be costume and jack-o'-lantern judging. Costume categories include ghosts, vampires, monsters, witches/warlocks, cartoons/nursery rhymes, pirates, princesses, TV/movie characters, clowns, groups/best couples, miscellaneous and grades 1-3, 4-6, jr. high and adults; a ($25) grand prize and runners-up. Games and refreshments will be held after judging.
ETNA GREEN Annual hayride            The Etna Green Lions Club will be holding their annual Community Hayride on Friday, Oct. 31. Wagons will leave the Heritage Park pavilion at 7 p.m.
Children under the age of 10 are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served upon return to the area.
Trick-or-treat
If you wish to give candy to costumed children, turn on your porch light during the designated times:

ETNA GREEN
• Trick-or-treaters can make their Halloween rounds in Etna Green Thursday, Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
TIPPECANOE
• 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
