PLYMOUTH — An Argos man, 22-year-old Brandon Warner, was found by police Sunday around 5:10 p.m. near U.S. 31 and 11th Road. Warner, who had last been seen in the Plymouth area Saturday around 6 p.m., was inside his 2000 Plymouth Neon about 415 feet from the roadway.
Ptl. Jeff Snyder with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office said that Warner was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle ran off the west side of the road and down a steep embankment, through a wire fence and into a wooded area, striking several trees. Warner's vehicle was wedged against a large tree. Snyder said Warner's airbags were deployed and Warner was pinned in the vehicle. Upon finding the Neon, police said Warner was confused and disoriented and had no recollection of the accident. He was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center-Plymouth, then airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with a broken leg and collapsed lung.
