Bremen and Nappanee fire departments respond to barn fire |

The Bremen and Nappanee fire departments responded to a call yesterday at approximately 1:30 p.m. about a pole barn fire on Birch Road east of Bremen, just off of 2B Road.
Smoke wafted from the open door of the building but no flames were immediately visible to the small crowd that had gathered outside.
Firefighters soon had the fire under control and no injuries were reported. There was no word on the amount of property damage and the cause of the fire was unknown at the time.
