Lee Jaeger, EVP, SJRMC-Plymouth, presented a check to the United Way of Marshall County this week. SJRMC not only was a pace-setter organization for this year’s campaign, but also managed to increase donations from last year by 20 percent. The United Way campaign goal this year is $500,000. With the help of SJRMC-Plymouth campus contributions, the United Way is now at 30 percent of its goal.
Maddox said, “The United Way of Marshall County partners with 15 member agencies and a variety of community programs to provide services for the elderly, youth, those in need, and health services. The United Way advances the common good by focusing on the building blocks to a good life: income, education, and health. When you reach out a hand to one, you influence the condition of all. That’s what it means to Live United.”
