Aug. 20, 2008
    LAKEVILLE — James Earl, Sr. 68, of Lakeville, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  
    He is survived by his wife, Eileen “Sue” (Frick) Earl; two daughters: Susan (Jack) Whitbey and Jennifer Earl, both of Lakeville; son, James (Lisa) Earl Jr. of Elkhart; three grandchildren; sister, Shelby (Bob) Smith of Middlebury; brother, Oscar (Fran) Earl of Georgia and Dennis (Suzie) Kraus of Nappanee; stepsister, Jill (Ben) Pardue of Terre Haute; and stepbrother, Jack (Pauline) Borton of Pierceton.  
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation is one-hour prior to the services Saturday in the funeral home.

Richard E. ‘Dick’ Robison

    ROCHESTER — Richard E. “Dick” Robison, 64, of Rochester, died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
    He is survived by his wife, Marsha D. Robison; son, Rex (Kristina) Robison of Rochester; two granddaughters; and mother-in-law, Marjorie Miller of Rochester.
    Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to services Monday at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Funeral services are Monday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the LeRoy Shelton American Legion #36 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars #1343.
    Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
