Pilot Photo/Holly Heller Deb Divine, an employee of Johns Manville in Bremen, took part in a mock disaster drill conducted by Community Hospital of Bremen Friday afternoon. She is loaded into the ambulance by Constance McKee and Kim Whitsel of Tri-County Ambulance Service. Also assisting in the drill were Bremen Police and Fire.
Johns Manville provided nine volunteer “victims” for the event: Deb Divine, Kyle Darmer, Bob Fisher, Jeanne Randall, Chris Woodhall, John Lewis, Brandon Huff, Tori Campbell and Elizabeth Divine. The scenario included a tractor-trailer turnover at the JM plant that resulted in a chemical spill and nine injured people, including one who was “airlifted” to Memorial Hospital.
