Three local school board seats open E-mail
Friday, 25 July 2008
By Holly Heller Enquirer Editor
BREMEN — Three of the five seats on the Bremen School Board are up for election this fall.
The open seats include: District II At-large Representative (currently held by Becky Beron); District I Out of Town Representative (currently held by Tony Leeper); and District III In-Town Representative (currently held by Frank DeSantis.)
All three terms will expire Dec. 31, 2008.
Remaining on the board through Dec. 31, 2010 are Todd Stuckman (District I Outside Town of Bremen) and Jack Jordan (District III In-Town).
Anyone interested in running for an open seat may pick up a petition form (CAN-34) from the Marshall County Voter Registration office.
The filing period is July 23 to Aug. 22.
A school board candidate running in a district seat must live in that district, but can get signatures from anybody living in the entire school district.
Terms of office are for four  years.
