Agnes Eileen Haser Biank
Aug. 5, 1928 - July 4, 2008
 GRANITE FALLS, N.C. — Mrs. Agnes Eileen Haser Biank, 79, of Granite Creek, N.C., passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at Camelot Manor Nursing Care Facility.
    She was born Aug. 5, 1928 in Elk County, Pa. to the late Edward Haser and Suzanne Mullen Haser. Mrs. Biank was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.        
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Biank and her sister, Julia Evers.
    She is survived by two daughters: Karen Louise Plyler of Elkhart and Donna Frushour and husband Mark of Granite Falls; her son, Robert Edward Biank and wife Shirley of Ridgway, Pa.; four grandchildren: Anthony, Trevor, and Thomas Frushour and Brian Plyler; and her sister, Phyllis Kerr of Johnsonburg, Pa.
    Funeral Mass for Mrs. Biank will be held at The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg, Pa. Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. with visitation preceding the service with Father Wilson officiating.

John F. Bolinger
April 9, 1936 - July 9, 2008
    MICHIGAN CITY — John F. Bolinger, 72, of Michigan City, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
    Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Queen of All Saints Church, with Fr. John Hogan officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carlisle Funeral home, where there will be a Michigan City Lions Club memorial service at 6:30 p.m. and a scripture service at 7 p.m. Burial will be made at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
    Mr. Bolinger was born April 9, 1936, in Plymouth to John F. and Cecelia (Sester) Bolinger, who have proceeded him in death. On Oct. 14, 1967, he was united in marriage to Mary Thomas at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Janet Ortegon of Sheboygan, Wis., John T. (Hiroe) Bolinger of Glen Ellyn, Ill. and Christine (Lee) Harshbarger of Evansville; three grandchildren: Alex Ortegon and Sam and Jake Harshbarger; one brother, Joseph P. Bolinger of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one sister, Mary Ann Bolinger of Plymouth.
    Mr. Bolinger was an electrical microwave technology specialist at NIPSCO, retiring in 1998 after 18 years of service. He had also worked at Swiss Controls as a chief project engineer for 10 years, where he had secured 20 patents for his inventions for many different types of electronic devices.
    He was a member of Queen of All Saints Church, Michigan City Knights of Columbus and Michigan City Lions Club. He enjoyed refurbishing antique radios and was a member of the Indiana Historical Radio Society. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Lloyd A. McFarlin

Sept. 24, 1918 – July 9, 2008
    PLYMOUTH – Lloyd A. McFarlin, 89, a lifetime Plymouth – West Township resident, died of natural causes at 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Miller’s Merry Manor, 635 Oakhill Ave., Plymouth.
    Born in Plymouth on Sept. 24, 1918, Lloyd was the son of John Lloyd and Lottie (Angler) McFarlin.
    He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1937.
    A Peach Road dairy farmer for 60 years and a Plymouth Community School bus driver for 23 years, he was a West Township Trustee and on the school organization committee when the schools combined. He was also a member of the Marshall County Farm Bureau.
    On Feb. 4, 1940, Lloyd and Carol Louise Hite were married and preceded in death on Oct. 12, 1986.
    Lloyd was a song leader at his church, the Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth. In his early years, he was in several singing groups: the Singing Bulls, the Marco Mountaineers, the Patrick Gingleheimer and the Barber Pole Cats noted for their renditions of “A Bicycle Built for Two.”
    The singers performed for many occasions including entertainment for the Veterans’ Hospital in Muncie.
    Lloyd is survived by two sons and a daughter. They are John (Pat) McFarlin of Elkhart, Jim (Ricki) McFarlin of Ligonier, and Ruth (Bill) Stayton of Plymouth.
    Six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren survive as well.
    Lloyd was also preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Friends are invited by Lloyd’s family to celebrate his life on Sunday, July 13, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 425 S. Michigan St., Plymouth.
    Funeral services for Lloyd will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in the church officiated by Rev. Kerry O’Brien and Mike Burroughs.
    Internment will be in Oakhill Cemetery.
    Memorial gifts may be made to the church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
    The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, has been entrusted with arrangements.
