Gerald ‘Jerry’ L. Clark, Sr.
June 14, 2008
    TIPPECANOE — Gerald “Jerry“ L. Clark, Sr., 71, of Tippecanoe, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 in his home in the care of his family.
    He is survived by his wife, Mary Muffley; two children: Shelley (Ken) Glick of Bremen and Gerald L. (Lisbeth) Clark, Jr. of Milford; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Vi Reichert and Sheryl (Harley) Hugh all of Osceola, Linda (Bud) Elliott of Elkhart and a sister-in-law, Barbara Clark of Goshen.
    In honoring the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place with a family memorial tribute at a later date.
    The family requests any memorial contributions be made to Marshall County Hospice in his memory.
    Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

    FORT WAYNE — Ruth May Eastlund, 90, of North Webster, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 12:01 a.m. at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
    She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Gray of Lafayette; two sons: Gary (Linda) Eastlund of Leesburg and Marvin (Phyllis) Eastlund of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Burroughs of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 18 from  4 to 8 p.m. at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, and one hour prior to service at the church on Thursday.
    Funeral services will take place Thursday, June 19 at 11 a.m. at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel with pastors Harlan Steffen and Brad Cox officiating.                                        
    Burial will follow at North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
    Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse is assisting the family with arrangements.

    ROCHESTER — Elsa Jean Edington, 63, of Rochester, died Friday, June 13 at Woodlawn Hospital.
    She is survived by her husband, Ralph "Dink" Edington; two daughters: Christina L. (Kevin) Smith and Rebecca S. (David) Blystone, all of Rochester; a son, Robert (Linda) Edington of Rochester; eight grandchildren: Stacy Smith of Goshen, Ciara, Travis and Olivia Smith, Skyler Overmyer, Emiley Edington, Ella Edington and Benjamin Blystone, all of Rochester; a niece, Abby Cheek of Rochester; two brothers: William A. "Bill" (Dolly) Cooley of Spokane, Wash. and Bernard "Shorty" (Lucy) Cooley of Rochester.
    Visitation will take place Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester
    Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.

    WARSAW — Wilma J. Savage, 93, of Warsaw, formerly of Plymouth, died June 13, 2008 of natural causes.
    Arrangements are pending through Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.
