Friday, 13 June 2008
One area teen is dead and four more in the hospital as a result of a tragic car accident around 4:20 p.m. May 31 near the intersection of SR 19 and East Division Road in Fulton County, according to WSBT news.
Brandon Keller, 18, of Rochester died June 2 at Parkview hospital in Ft. Wayne, the result of serious head injuries from the accident, which occurred when a vehicle driven by 17 year old Seth Mathias of Rochester collided with an SUV driven by 33 year old Timothy Richey of Huntington.
Keller was a familiar face in the Culver community. His grandparents, Robert and Doris Breyfogle, are longtime residents of the town.
Also in Mathias’ vehicle were Courtney Engle, 16, of Akron, Jessica Imel, 15, of Rochester, Trevor Williams, 17, of Akron, and Brandon Keller, 18, of Rochester. Williams’ condition has been upgraded to serious and Engle is in fair condition, while the other passengers remain in critical condition as of this writing.
Richley’s vehicle contained five people, two of whom were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
