Dale Dodson walks near the scene of this barn fire Wednesday on his property on 12B Road in rural Plymouth, near Bourbon.
According to the Plymouth Fire Department, Dodson had been burning a trash pile in the vicinity and accidentally caught the barn’s wood shingles on fire.
Dodson, who owns horses, houses the animals in a newer barn behind the burned barn. The animals were out of the barn area and were unharmed.
Bourbon Fire assisted while Argos also responded to put out a nearby  brush fire.
