Donations sought after family’s house lost to fire E-mail
Thursday, 21 February 2008
By Jeff Kenney, Citizen editor
A Feb. 13 house fire claimed not only the home of Denny and Sally Molebash, but all of their belongings as well. While thankfully all of the family is safe, several in the surrounding community are mobilizing efforts to raise funds to help the Molebashes, whose home was on 900 West Rd. near Delong.
According to Sandy Dunfee, one of the organizers of the effort, a fund has been set up through Allen Chesser at the First National Bank of Monterey for donations to the family. Son Robert Molebash, a sophomore at Culver High School, is “a great kid,” said Dunfee. “He’s excelled in everything he’s ever in. He’s a standout athlete and student.”
Dunfee noted that clothing is needed in the following sizes: men's pants 28-32, 32/30, and 42x30. Men's shirts M-L, large, and 2X, and men's shoes 10-11, 10, and 13. Ladies pants 12-14, shirts large, shoes 7 1/2.
Questions may be directed to 574-835-2646 or 835-2645.
