BY CHERYL PATRICK LEADER STAFF WRITER KNOX — Terry Chestovich is the new head varsity coach for the Knox High School Redskins. Chestovich replaces Steve Snodgrass who accepted a coaching position with Heritage High School, near Ft. Wayne. Chestovich will begin his position immediately and is enthusiastic about getting to work. “I'm looking forward to meeting the kids tomorrow. We'll have our meeting and then go straight to the weight room,” Chestovich said. On his former school’s Web site, Chestovich explains what it is about the game of football that he loves so much. “It is my passion, and I enjoy being with the kids — they are like family,” he said. Chestovich comes from Chesterton High School, where he held the position of defensive coordinator/linebacker coach. After graduating from Chesterton High, Chestovich continued his education at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N. D. where he received a B. S. in physical education/health. Chestovich then went on to earn his masters degree at Ball State University in Muncie.
