    HAMLET — Christopher A. Brown, 30, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
    He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; son, Nathan at home; mother, Meriliza Brown of Walkerton; and two half-brothers: Robert Fraine of Grovertown and Keith Fraine of Bremen. 
    A memorial service will be held Monday. Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. CST at the Koontz Lake Missionary Church. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation has taken place.
    Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, is handling arrangements. 
    Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home at 7984 N S.R. 23, Walkerton, IN 46574.

    COLUMBIA CITY —Beatrice J. Burke, 76, of Columbia City, formerly of Plymouth, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City.
    Arrangements are pending at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth.

    ARGOS — Eldon F. Cowen, 86, of Argos, died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.

    PLYMOUTH — Gertrude Hampton, 90, of Plymouth, died Monday, Feb. 4 in Avon Park, Fla.    
    Visitation is Monday, Feb. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Funeral services are Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth.
    Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth.

    NAPPANEE — Betty Jean Rouch, 74, of Nappanee, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at home.
    She is survived by her husband, Lavere Rouch; daughter, Gloria (Ed) Moser of Nappanee; sons: John (Wanda) Rouch of Watkinsville, Ga. and David (Gretchen) Rouch of Ada, Ohio; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Janet (Dave) Buck of Nappanee; and brothers: Roger (Rachel) Pittman of Nappanee and Larry (Nancy) Pittman of Osseo, Wis.
    Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel and one hour prior to the service Friday. Funeral services are Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at the church.
    Burial will be at South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
    Memorials may be made to the Nappanee Missionary Church or the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care.
    Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of the arrangements.

    PARRITA, COSTA RICA – Delann “Dean” Noble Berger, 53, a former LaPaz area resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident weeks prior.
    Arrangements are incomplete with the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.
