NORTH JUDSON — The North Judson Police Department continues to investigate a case of forgery and fraud which has cost the band boosters almost $15,000. Town Marshal Bob Manning told the North Judson Town Council last week that his department is investigating a case which involves theft of $14,850 from the North Judson-San Pierre Music Booster Club. Charges are being sought for the crime and the incident is still under investigation. Although school officials said the information has been turned over to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office, that office said they have no information. The school’s bank is conducting an independent investigation, officials said.
