Pilot photo by Maggie Nixon Thirty downtown businesses are taking part in a weekend full of events, including horse-drawn carriage rides Friday. In addition to the rides, carolers have been filling the Garro Street area downtown with music. Saturday, The City Center will be presenting new works by artists Bonnie Rock, Valerie Schafer and Jeff Matejovsky with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. The night will be capped off with the Mayor’s Ball.
