Culver Girls Academy’s Waverly Neer finished sixth for the second straight year at the Nike Midwest Region Meet in Terre Haute Sunday, coming in at 18:16.7 to earn a cut out to the Nike Nationals in Portland, Ore. on Dec. 5.

Neer finished first out of all Indiana runners at the race on the way to her nationals-qualifying time, while teammate Willow Smith ran a personal-best 19:32 to earn 51st at the region meet Sunday.
