The Patriot Guard — including more than 100 motorcycles — led the funeral procession Saturday for SSGT Justin DeCrow’s funeral. Pilot photo/Maggie Nixon

PLYMOUTH — Staff Sgt. Justin DeCrow, one of 13 killed at Fort Hood, was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery Saturday afternoon.
Before the funeral services, citizens lined Michigan Street standing silently with flags and signs as the military escort — which included more than 100 motorcycle riders of the Patriot Guard — proceed from Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home to the Plymouth Wesleyan Church at 11 a.m.
City and county police officers and firefighters from the Plymouth Fire Department assisted the silent, slow-moving procession by blocking traffic from the funeral home to the church.
More than 800 miniature American flags were handed out in downtown.
Businesses wrote words of thanks on their marquees while some even displayed huge American flags.
Following the service at the church, the funeral procession made its way to the New Oak Hill Cemetery, where DeCrow was buried with full military honors.
