SSG Justin DeCrow PLYMOUTH — While Veterans Day today brings to memory all of those who have worn the nation’s military uniforms and those who have fought for our country, the day’s celebration will be missing one local soldier.
Funeral arrangements for SSG Justin M. Decrow, 32, a career serviceman with the United States Army who was tragically killed in the events at Ft. Hood, Texas Thursday, Nov. 5, have been announced. Justin, who served in the military for 13 years and recently returned from South Korea where he specialized in satellite communications, was a resident of Evans Ga. and formerly of Plymouth. He had been stationed at Fort Hood for about two months before being killed — along with 12 others and several wounded — when an Army psychiatrist opened fire on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas.
