By Carol Anders Correspondent PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Aviation Board had only one bidder for asphalt millings removed during construction at the airport, but they were pleased with the amount of the bid. Lenker Services of Ply-mouth was the lone bidder at $8,200 for the project.
Additionally, Lenker has offered to remove the asphalt from the airport site with their own trucks. The bid was opened during the regular meeting of the board Tuesday night. Other agenda items in-cluded a report from Chris Snyder, Woolpert, Inc. on the 2010 Capital Improvement Plan. Wollpert, an Indianapolis firm, serves as the consultant to the board. Snyder informed the board of an upcoming Aviation Association of Indiana Capital Improvement Plan meeting. The meeting will be held at Swan Lake Resort in October. Only two board members would be allowed to attend, according to City Attorney Nelson Chipman.
