Photo by Cheryl Patrick Dana White, of Plymouth, was crowned Miss Bass Lake 2009 at the annual pageant Saturday evening.
White spends a lot of time at her father’s Bass Lake home and spoke fondly of memories at the lake as a young girl. When asked what she would like to see changed about the Bass Lake Festival, White said she would like to see more time devoted to the historical tour that takes place during the annual festival event. White was also asked where she could see herself in 50 years. Her answer was, “Surrounded by family and loved ones because family means everything to me.” Dana (left) is pictured with Janelle Zilinski, Miss Bass Lake 2008. Zilinski gave an inspirational and humorous exit speech as she prepared to hand her title to this year’s winner.
