By Angel Perkins Correspondent The K.C. Mustangs are ready to begin their second year with the Bourbon community playing at the Triton football field five out of their 10 season games. Kickoff for the home games are at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, children 13-17 are $3 and 12 and under are free. Concessions will be available at home games sold by Triton booster clubs.
The Mustangs will be holding a raffle for the 2009 season. Tickets will be available to purchase July 18 during the Mustangs home game against the Wolfpack for a drawing held Sept. 26 during the last home game. Raffle tickets can be purchased from players, Mustang staff members or at the gate during every home game. Cost is $5 each, or $25 for six tickets. Prizes to be awarded include a 32” (or larger) LCD television, a $200 gift card and a Mustangs “Spirit Package” which includes a hat, T-shirt, hoodie and spirit towel. Helping Hands Pantry will be onsite during the Aug. 1 game when the Mustangs play host to the Elkhart Shamrock. Fans should bring at least two cans of non-perishable goods and receive $1 off of admission.
