Above, Gracie and Emma Kruyer enjoy a lunch break from their busy day as area kids are again taking advantage of a free lunch at Plymouth High School.

The summer lunch program is continuing as it has in the past few years. Any school age child 18 or under can enjoy a free lunch at the high school, and starting July 20, kids will be able to get both breakfast and lunch at Lincoln Junior High, Washington Elementary and Riverside Intermediate schools.
New this year, adults may also enjoy a little lunch with their kids for a cost of $2. Already, the high school has served about 400 meals, with just the second day of the program completed.
Lunch time is 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  When the program starts at the other schools breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m. to noon.
