NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Plymouth will have a chance to enjoy some of its favorite music for free Thursday, April 9 when  Denver Bierman brings his Mile High Orchestra to Plymouth Wesleyan Church for a free concert.
“We’re playing a show in Wisconsin the night before so it seemed like a good time to get back home for awhile,” said Bierman. “It’s always the best to be around family and friends – and I haven’t been home since we played at the Blueberry Festival.”

It will also be a chance for the home town to be the first to hear new music from the band’s soon to be released EP — its first since the exciting run on Fox’s reality show “The Next Great American Band.”
“We haven’t done a new studio recording in a long time so this is pretty exciting for us,” said Bierman. “The record doesn’t come out to the general public until May 5 but we’ll have some there for people to pick up if they want.”
Even though they haven’t been recording, the band has been working hard, refining the sound that helped them steal Am-erica’s hearts on the show, and honing that sound live.
“For people who saw us at the Blueberry Festival our new work isn’t a big departure from that,” said Denver. “If you haven’t seen us in three years, you may be in for a little surprise. We’ll be rolling out at least two or three brand new songs for the first time.”
One thing about the band will never change: their outlook on life.
“We want people to come out and have a good time, that’s what it’s all about,” said Denver. “We like to think we bring a little something to the table to help you think about life and purpose a little bit to let people know every day around you there is a God that loves you.
“Of course that’s right before Easter so we’ll be celebrating that — new life and what it means to us.”
