WARSAW — Triton topped the field on its home course at challenging Rozella Ford, while Bremen also got something to celebrate as the Lady Lions earned their first win Wednesday.
The Trojans tallied a team score of 212 to breeze to a dual win over both Bremen, which recorded a 242, and Tippecanoe Valley, which finished at the bottom of the pile with a 282.
Triton head coach Jack Carpenter said he expected his team to win the meet, and Wednesday's meet was more about his players' scores.
"I knew coming in tonight that we should win no problem, so playing the other two teams is not a real big victory for us. It's more about our score tonight, and we're probably pretty close to what we should shoot tonight... 212 is probably a pretty decent score for us. I'd like to see them shoot a little better on our home course, but our home course is probably one of the tougher courses and longer ones they're going to play. 212 is probably pretty good for us, like I say, so I can be happy with that."
