Triton pushes back first day due to A.C.

BOURBON – A delay in completion of the heating and air conditioning installation at Triton Jr./Sr. High School has pushed backed the start of the student year. The first day for all Triton Elementary School and Triton Jr./Sr. High School students is now Friday, Aug. 19.
The student registration/textbook rental collection dates for Triton Elementary School are still Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, Aug. 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration/textbook rental collection dates for the junior/senior high school have changed.
The new dates are Monday, Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
The staff orientation day has been moved to Thursday, Aug. 18 in the elementary cafeteria.
Staff may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. for the 8 a.m. meeting.
The elementary open house will be held Aug. 18 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The last day for students will be May 30, 2012.
