Triton grad T.J. Carpenter is Cleveland Golf/ Srixon All-America Scholar

July 31, 2012

BOURBON — Triton alum and Ball State graduate T.J. Carpenter has been named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar. He was named to the list — which is selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America — with Cardinals teammates Joe Gasser, Tony Lazzara and Alex Stinson, and the four made up the most picks on any individual team in any NCAA Division I program.
Carpenter, a 2012 graduate of Ball State, owned a 3.267 GPA as a risk management and insurance major. He tallied a 75.20 average for the Cardinals and managed three top-20 finishes in 2011-12. Carpenter tied for first at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational last fall for his season best finish.
A total of 146 student-athletes were honored as Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars in NCAA Division I.
