Headed to Global Finals in Knoxville, Tenn. is the junior high team of Brittney Goley, Brianna Nolin, Brenden Damron, and Evan Rock. They placed second in the Middle Level Improv Challenge, “News To Me.”
Triton DI has several fundraisers planned to help the teams raise the $4,000 needed to send the team to compete.
The Famous Flamingo Flock is making a guest appearance in the area again from April 30 to June 2. For the cost of $25, you can order these graceful birds to adorn your yard or that of a friend or neighbor for 12 hours, and then they fly out in the evening to prepare for their next landing. For $20 you can buy 12 hour “Flock Insurance” to keep the birds off your yard. Call 574-342-6505 x367 days or 574-780-4857 evenings to schedule a booking.
The Mother’s Day Special is also running from April 26 through May 8. A child in Triton Schools can purchase a candy or flower gram for $1 to give to their special mom, grandma, aunt, or special lady. Order forms can be obtained at Triton Elementary or Triton High School. Payment must accompany order.
Candy gram and flower gram will be delivered to the children Thursday, May 9.
