Triton, Bremen look to get on track

September 9, 2010

BOURBON — If Northern State Conference victories weren't enough, a couple of area teams have extra incentives to get a win this weekend.
For Triton that means beating Bremen on the Trojans’ home field for the first time in well over a decade.
“It’s another rivalry game for us. Bremen is very close to us, and for a lot of our seniors this is their last chance to see them,” said Triton head football coach Rodney Younis. “ We get them on our home field and it’s been a long time since Triton has beaten Bremen at home. We’ve beaten them the last couple of years at their place, but we’ve not beaten them at our place, so that’s been a big focus; these seniors want to go out with a win at home.”
