Travis Pastrana cancels Plymouth Speedway appearance

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Speedway has announced that motocross driver and superstar stuntman Travis Pastrana will not attend the races on Friday as originally planned.
Pastrana broke his right foot and ankle attempting a 720 during a second pass at the X Games on July 28. Following the injury, he had initially planned to attend Friday’s races as a spectator and to sign autographs, but the track has announced that his injuries are more extensive than previously thought and he’s been ordered to stay bedridden for the next six weeks and could need as much as six months recovery time before racing or riding again.
