Starke County announces absentee voting dates

That time of year has come around again for voting in the primary and general election. For those who have registered to vote, absentee voting days and times has recently been released by the Starke County Election Board, per resolution #2016-2.
Absentee voting will take place in person at the courthouse, located at 53 E. Washington Street, on the second floor for the primary election.
Starting April 5 until April 30, voters can come in to vote from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the office closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
April 21 and April 28, voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The office will be closed from noon to 1 p.m.
May 2, voting will be held from 8 a.m. to noon and is the last day for voting in the primary election.
The dates were chosen by unanimous vote March 7 by the Starke County Election Board.
The primary election will be Tuesday, May 3.
