PLYMOUTH — Sondre J. Kamp, 69, of Plymouth passed away at 8:24 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after losing her battle with cancer and emphysema.
Sondre was born May 4, 1943, in Plymouth, to Deane and Cecelia (Kinsey) Dipert. Sondre was a lifetime resident of Marshall County. Feb. 16, 1959, Sondre became the bride of Kenneth E. Kamp. He preceded her in death Oct. 16, 2007. They were married nearly 49 years.
Sondre was an excellent homemaker, who provided a wonderful home, and home-life, for her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and spending quality time with her daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters.
Sondre is survived by her three daughters, Cathy (George) Null and Angela (Corey) Green both of Argos, and Kimberly Kamp (companion Gary Masterson) of Plymouth. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Shanda and Krista Null, Ashley (Kendall) Elmore, and Ashton Kendall; two great-granddaughters, Kailey Elmore and Ataya Hesters; one sister, Mary Dipert; one half-brother, Michael Bernero; four stepgranddaughters; one stepgrandson; two stepgreat-granddaughters; and one stepgreat-grandson. Sondre was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Kamp, her parents, and her sister, Mona Stetler.
