Show your support for the Pride of Plymouth

September 19, 2010

PLYMOUTH — For band members around Northern Indiana its Plymouth High School’s Pride of Plymouth Marching Band Harvest Festival time and some parents and boosters are hoping to give the program a financial boost.
Jeff and Lenore Jones of Anco Office Products in Plymouth are teaming up with the band to publish a program for the event and they are looking for businesses and individuals who support the program to show their backing by purchasing an ad for their business, or for their favorite band member.
“We’re going to do this in house so that we can give all the money we raise to the program,” said Jeff Jones who along with Lenore has undertaken the task of raising some funds for the Pride of Plymouth. “The Music Boosters will get all the proceeds from the program and I know they want to purchase new uniforms for the band in the near future and we hope we can start building up funds towards things like that.”
“The more people we can get to participate the more money we can make and make this a major fundraiser for the band,” said Rebecca Pritchard of the Music Boosters. “This is a chance for you to show how proud you are of the Pride of Plymouth Band.”
The ads are open to all businesses, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, or anyone who wants to send well wishes to their student or advertise their business. Photos may be included in the ad space as well. There will be a separate seniors page for pictures and well wishes.
Any business or individuals wishing to support the band with a program ad can contact Lenore Jones by email at lenore@ancoofficewroducts.com or call 574-936-3336. Ad prices range from $25 for well wishes ads to full display ads for businesses.
Plymouth High School’s Pride of Plymouth Marching Band Harvest Festival will be held Oct. 9. Deadline for the program is Oct. 1.
