Shook and German named All-State HM

Plymouth’s No. 1 doubles tandem of Andria Shook, left, and Marissa German, right, were recently named to the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association’s All-State Honorable Mention list.
Shook and German finished their season with an 18-6 record, were named to the All-Northern Lakes Conference Honorable Mention list, the all-district team and finished runners-up at the LaPorte Regional in the IHSAA’s 22nd Annual Doubles State Tournament.
Shook’s and German’s teammates Kelly Hoeffler and Allie Berger were also selected for All-State Honorable Mention by the IHSTeCA as well as all-district honors. Hoeffler finished the year with a 7-14 record at 1 singles, while Berger finished at 12-9 at 2 singles.
Additionally, Bremen’s Morgan Smith was named both All-State Honorable Mention and all-district, finishing her sophomore season with a record of 20-1 at No. 1 singles, her only loss coming in the semifinals of the LaPorte Regional during the IHSAA’s 31st Annual State Singles Tournament.
