Sheriff using Facebook to search for 'most wanted'

July 16, 2013

PLYMOUTH - The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is using all the tools at their disposal to do their job more efficiently.

The Department is now using their Facebook page to post a periodic “most wanted list” for those that have warrants for their arrest. Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin is hoping that having an “extra set of eyes” in the community will lead to tips for officers on patrol.

On the most recent list are; Julio Cesar Torres Cruz, Lizeth Faviola Martinez Arroyo wanted for failure to appear since 2011, Jason Lee Christlieb for dealing and manufacturing of methamphetamine, wanted since 2012, and Jeffrey Patrick Moriarty wanted since early this year on charges of dealing narcotics to someone under the age of 18.

The Facebook program is a new one - just begun in the past few weeks - and Chamberlin welcomes all information that citizens or others can provide on those that are posted.

On Facebook search “Marshall County Sheriff’s Department” or call in your tip to 574-936-3187.
