PLYMOUTH — Ruby M. Amor, 82, of Plymouth passed away at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. 
Ruby was born March 15, 1930, in Rolling Prairie, to Gordon and Dorothy (Stover) Lent. Oct. 23, 1989, Ruby became the bride of Leo E. Amor. Leo preceded Ruby in death March 4, 2000. Ruby worked many years for Vic’s Laundromat. She was the past president of the Eagles Lodge, a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. She was an active member of the VFW. Ruby enjoyed quilting and needlepoint and had made many beautiful handmade items for her family and friends. Ruby’s greatest joy was her family. She will be sadly missed.
Ruby is survived by her son, Richard “Dick” Piper of Plymouth; daughter, Donna Eggert of Bremen; daughter, Jenny Ames of Lakeland, Fla.; son, George Piper of Plymouth; sister, Barbara (Max) Nemeth of Mauldin, S.C.; brother, Harold “Butch” (Yvonne) Lent of Sidney; sister-in-law, Gloria Lent of Nappanee; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo E. Amor; her brothers, Stanely Lent, Jerry Lent, and William Lent; her sister, Marjorie Bell; and her grandson, Lawrance “Alan” Lester.
