PLYMOUTH — Roy “Jack” Hughes, age 91, of 400 W. Washington St., Plymouth, Ind., passed away at 10:09 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2011, at his home.
Jack was born March 9, 1920, in Plymouth, to Walter and Ethel (Personett) Hughes. He was retired from the Plymouth Foundry and the Marshall County Highway Department. He also worked part-time for Dr. Connell, doing landscaping. Jack lived most his adult life in the Plymouth and Argos areas. He spent his childhood in Bremen, Ind.
Jack is survived by his sons, Robert (Nancy) Hughes of Plymouth and Jim Hughes of Plymouth; his sister, Mary Bottorff; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Hughes; and his sister, Helen Hughes. Memorial contributions may be given to the choice of the donor.
