PLYMOUTH — Rosebud Ferrell, 90, of Plymouth, died at 12:42 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
She was born Aug. 31, 1920 in Lebanon, Ind. to Russell and Vivian (Meadows) Dismore.
She lived most of her life in the Marshall County Community She married Howard Ferrell Sr. June 17, 1939 in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1983.
She was a clerk at Madison Stevens IGA Grocery Store and Grolich Grocery Store, both of Argos.
She was a member of the Argos United Methodist Church; Argos American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, Post #68; VFW ladies Auxiliary, Plymouth; and the Order of the Eastern Star #26 of Plymouth. She was a graduate of Downers Grove High School (Illinois) class of 1938.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kline and husband Ron of Plymouth; grandchildren: Amy Miller and husband Rich of Argos, Traci Tippmann and husband Larry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffery Ferrell and wife Ellen of Rochester, and Jason Tom of Fairfax, Va.; and eight great-grandchildren: Alicia and Jeffery Ferrell, Sydney and Carleigh Miller, Aaron, Riley, Natalie, and Christopher Tippmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Howard Ferrell Jr.; daughters: Sue Ferrell, Terri Ferrell, and Marla Tom; grandsons, Todd and Doug Ferrell; sisters, Joy Spohn and Donna Clabaugh; and a brother, Victor Dismore.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
