LEBANON — Roma D. Garnand, 84, of Lebanon, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at 1:25 p.m., at Homewood Healthcare in Lebanon.
Roma was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Marshall County to Irvin and Bessie (Krieg) Hostetler. Roma and Charles Arthur Garnand were married Feb. 6, 1949. Charles passed away Aug. 3, 1980. Roma had worked as a waitress and was the secretary for the Marshall County Extension Office. She spent a lot of her time volunteering with the Cub Scouts, Marshall County Museum, and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, in Plymouth. She was very active with her children’s activities and sports. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, in Plymouth.
Roma is survived by her daughter, Linda S. and Ron Myers of Estle Springs, Tenn.; her sons, Gary E. Garnand of Tipton and Mark and Deanna Garnand of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, who always made her laugh and smile; and her brother, Neal and Roberta Hostetler of Plymouth. Roma was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Janice Childers and Doris Coker.
