Rockies back on track in win over Goshen

October 9, 2010

GOSHEN — After two losses, the Plymouth Rockies dominated Goshen on the road Friday night.
The Rockies outrushed the Redskins 330-193 yards, Houston Hodges got involved in the running game and threw two touchdown passes, and Plymouth used a big second quarter to catapult to a 41-20 Northern Lakes Conference win.
It was the largest margin of defeat for Goshen so far this year.
“I’m really proud of our kids,” said Plymouth’s head football coach John Barron. “After two tough losses, it’s great for our kids to come to practice with the mentality and attitude they’ve had and really take it to Goshen. No one has done this to Goshen.”
