Rockies back to normal this week

September 9, 2010

PLYMOUTH — In some ways it will be a week of recovery for the Plymouth Rockies and their head coach.
A week of upheaval ended in a victory over conference foe Warsaw. The team knew it would be without head coach John Barron on the sideline last Friday. Nobody expected what would actually happen.
“They knew they were going to lose their head coach on Friday and then I was gone for the whole week,” said Barron. “I have never been more proud of a group of kids than I am of them, and more proud of our whole coaching staff, especially Mike Kershner and the job he did. He became a head coach in a matter of a day.”
