Girls soccer
LaVille rallies past Adams
LaVille rallied back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to beat visiting Adams 2-1 at home at Newton Park Monday.
Nina Zeiger scored the equalizer on a penalty kick in the 45th minute, and Jesse Feitz’s solo goal in the 60th minute proved to be the golden goal for the Lady Lancers.
Abbie McBride made six saves in goal to preserve the win for LaVille.

Bremen loses at West Noble
Bremen couldn’t hold on to an early second half lead as the Lady Lions fell 2-1 at West Noble Monday.
Aimie DeLeon found the back of the net for Bremen in the 46th minute on a dual assist from Jenna Pfeiffer and Heather Martin, but West Noble scored two more times despite being outshot 20-6 by the Lions.
Shayna Graverson made eight saves in goal for Bremen in the loss.

Bremen blanks Mishawaka
Austin Adams made four saves in goal and four different Lions scored as Bremen took a 5-0 win on the road at Mishawaka Monday.
Danny Reynoso scored twice for Bremen, while Josh Brenneman, Sam Bickel and Andrew Huff each finished with a goal and an assist.
Bremen will host LaVille Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Volleyball
Knox tops LaVille
Hanah Folkers put away 14 kills, and Knox beat Northern State Conference foe LaVille 25-23, 25-12, 25-19 at home Monday.
Nikki Frasure led the Lady Redskins in setting with 27 assists, while Madison Whiles had 29 digs, and Chelsea Collins finished with three blocks for Knox, which moves to 14-9 on the year and 4-2 in the NSC.
The Redskins will be back in action Wednesday at home versus Washington Township at 5:30 p.m. CST.

Triton loses in 3
Triton lost a three-game volleyball match to visiting Winamac at home Monday 25-23, 25-11, 25-18. Breanna Lemler led the team in blocking and attacking with six kills, while Megan Howdeshell had five kills and Shana Anderson had four.
Krystal Sellers set nine assists for Triton, while Marissa Ross had five.
The Lady Trojans will be back in action Thursday at home against Bremen.

CMA shuts out Marian
Culver Military Academy handed visiting Mishawaka Marian a 5-0 defeat at home Monday.
The Eagles won in straight sets at all positions.
Quinlan Smith and Jorge Segura beat Michael Amor and Clint Lowenhar 6-3, 6-4 in the most competitive match of the day at No. 1 doubles.

8th grade volleyball
Lincoln beats Rochester
The Lincoln eighth grade Red Storm defeated the Rochester Zebras 25-15, 25-17, moving their record to 12-1.
Lincoln’s next match is scheduled for Thursday at Lincoln against Bremen.

7th grade volleyball
Lincoln takes 1st loss
The seventh grade Lincoln Red Storm lost its first match of the season last night to Rochester 25-17, 25-17.
Lincoln’s record is now 9-1. The next match is scheduled for Thursday at Bremen.

College volleyball
Chargers win 2
The Ancilla College volleyball team won both matches at this Saturday’s Ancilla Tri-Match, defeating Indiana University-Kokomo 25-22, 25-13, 22-25, 25-17 and sweeping the Goshen College junior varsity in straight sets 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.
The Lady Chargers (5-8, 0-5 MCCAA Western) received excellent serving from Chelsie Miller and Danni Burge against Indiana University-Kokomo, according to Ancilla head coach Lana Singleton.
Both players finished with three aces in the match.
Burge added 21 digs while Kelly Duke posted eight kills in 17 attempts with only one error. Nikki Trudell finished 22 for 24 in serve receive passing and added 10 digs of her own. Kristen Trudell finished with 36 assists.
In the nightcap, Kristen Trudell dished out 41 assists while adding six kills to pace Ancilla. Miranda Hammons picked up 14 kills, 15 digs and three aces with no errors, while Keri Friend and Haley Markley each added 11 kills. Burge led the defense with 18 digs.
