Plymouth wins in 3
Plymouth’s volleyball team earned a lopsided three-game victory on the road at Riley Wednesday night, 25-8, 25-11, 25-13.
Amber Redinger finished with nine kills and six blocks at the net for the Lady Pilgrims, while Andria Shook tallied nine kills and 11 digs.
Haley Harrell served up 24 assists and Emily Eveland registered eight digs for Plymouth, which approached .500 at 4-5 on the season.

Boys tennis
Plymouth edges Triton
The Pilgrims earned victories on two of three singles courts and at 2 doubles, and Plymouth edged out Triton 3-2 in a contest between potential sectional foes on the road in Bourbon Wednesday.
Gabe Vervynckt earned two 6-0 victories at 1 singles, and John Hunter won 6-2, 6-0 at 3 singles. The Pilgrims 2 doubles tandem of Kameron Eisehour and Kendall Fosler reeled off two 6-2 wins to give Plymouth its third match point and clinch the win.
Dean Howdeshell earned a straight-set tiebreaker win at 2 singles for Triton, while Jeff Ross and Pete Kauffman won a competitive 1 doubles match 6-2, 6-3.

LaVille loses NSC match
LaVille suffered a 5-0 loss to Northern State Conference opponent New Prairie to remain winless on the season Wednesday.
Braydon Haisley had a competitive match at 1 singles, extending Kyle Lowman to 10 games in the first set and nine in the second but ultimately falling 6-4, 6-3.

Bremen blanks Glenn
Bremen handed visiting Northern State Conference foe John Glenn a 5-0 loss at DeSantis Courts Wednesday.
The most competitive score of the night came at 1 singles, where Joe Jaworski forced Brad Foster to 10 games in the second set before succumbing 6-2, 6-4.

CMA tops Tigers
Culver Military Academy beat host Warsaw 4-1 on the road Wednesday.
Quinlan Smith, Sam Concannon and Eric Maudhuit earned the Eagles the sweep in singles play, and Alec Proeh and Austin Proeh won their 1 doubles match-up in two 6-2 sets.

Girls golf
Lady Pilgrims manage Marian
Kelly Henderson shot a meet-low 46, and Plymouth handed visiting Marian a 192-210 defeat at home at the Plymouth Country Club Wednesday.
Lauren Rearick finished one stroke back of Henderson at 47, while Morgan Oberley also broke 50 with a 49 for the round. Emily Berger carded a 50 to help push the Lady Pilgrims to 4-2.

Glenn splits 3-way with Riley, LaVille
John Glenn split, and LaVille finished at the bottom of the pile in a three-way meet with Riley at Sprig O’Mint.
Morgan Eggleston shot 53 to pace the Lady Falcon, and Kaylee Matz and Madeleine Silvey both turned in 57s for Glenn. Emma Reese and Katie Hershberger carded dual 60s to complete Glenn’s team score as it fell six strokes short of a win over Riley.
Lauren Read led LaVille with a strong 43, Shayla Effert shot 54, Melissa Hall shot 68, and Casey Turak carded a 70 for the Lady Lancers.
