Bremen beats NorthWood
Bremen moved to an even 3-3 on the season with a 4-1 win over host NorthWood Monday.
The Lions trumped the Panthers on all courts by 2 singles, where Quinn Stillson beat Jalen Bayer 6-4, 6-3.
While all matches were decided in straight sets, the meet saw competitive scores on all courts, including a 7-6, 6-4 win at 1 doubles by Joe Zeltwanger and Nate Strehler over Jayson Linhart and Brennan Angle.
NorthWood remains winless at 0-6 with the defeat.

LaVille opens with loss
LaVille opened its season with a 5-0 loss to visiting Bethany Christian Monday.
The Lancers won just two games at the meet, both second-set wins at doubles.

NorthWood tops 3-way as LaVille fields three
NorthWood topped the field at a three-way meet, while Concord split the triangular, and LaVille was unable to put up a team score with just three golfers at Bent Oak Monday.
The Lady Panthers were paced by Heidi Morganthaler’s low round of 45, while Linnze Richner and Kate Adams shot 48 and 49, respectively, and Rachel Beebe turned in a 55 for NorthWood.
Lauren Read led LaVille with a strong 47, while Shayla Eggert carded a 58, and Casey Turak finished in 71. Melissa Hall withdrew early in the round, and LaVille was unable to record a full team score with just three golfers.

Glenn splits 3-way
The John Glenn girls golf team split a three-way meet with South Bend Adams and Washington Monday night.
Adams scored a team 207 to clip Glenn at 214, while Washington finished at 261.
Medalist for the night was Katie Kopelend of Adams with a 47 followed by teammate Paige Spychalski at 48.
Glenn was led by Madeleine Silvey with a 49, followed by Kaylee Matz’s 53, Morgan Eggleston’s 55 and Emma Reese’s 57. Washington was led Camille Coleman’s round of 58.
Glenn will play at Sprig O’Mint on Wednesday against LaVille and Riley followed by a home meet Thursday with Knox at Indiana National.

LaVille loses to Goshen
LaVille’s volleyball team fell in three competitive games to visiting Goshen Monday, 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.
Katie Berger led the Lady Lancers in setting with six assists to go along with three kills, while Jessica Freeman passed out four assists. Kelsey Gurtner finished with nine kills and 12 digs, Kyla Coblentz had six digs, and Lynae and Lauren Hostrawser added three solo blocks apiece.
LaVille travels to NorthWood tonight for a 6 p.m. match.
