Plymouth earns first win with victory over LaVille
Plymouth claimed its first win of the year with a home victory over LaVille Tuesday 25-7, 25-14, 25-14 at the Rock.
Andria Shook and Amber Redinger led the Plymouth attack with five kills each, followed by Marissa German with four. German served up three aces, while Shook had one. Haley Harrell led the team in setting and passing with 12 assists and seven digs.

Knox loses to St. Joe
The Knox volleyball yeam lost to South Bend St. Joseph’s in a 3-2 barnburner, 25-21, 25-13, 20-25, 23-25, 16-14.
the Lady Redskins fall to an even 4-4 with the result.
The Knox JV yeam lost to South Bend St. Joseph High School 25-14, 25-16.

Boys soccer
Argos routs Elkhart Christian
Damon Binkley scored a hat trick, and Argos routed Elkhart Christian 7-3 on the road Tuesday.
Binkley scored in the fifth, 13th and 73rd minutes and assisted on a Patric Shei goal in the eighth minute, while Ronald Tanner scored twice for the Dragons. Ronald Tanner and Jordan O’Dell also scored for Argos, which outshot Elkhart Christian 11-6.
Zach Stockman made three saves in goal for Argos.
The Dragons will host Westville Thursday at 6 p.m.

Romano scores 6 for LaVille in shutout win over Rochester
Craig Romano scored an unbelievable six goals as LaVille shut out visiting Rochester 11-0 Tuesday at home.
Romano scored in the first and second minutes and his goals at the 21st and 32nd minute marks put LaVille up 5-0 at the half. He scored LaVille’s final two goals in the 72nd and 76th minutes.
Jordyn Williams scored twice with an assist, while Austin Clady and Tristan Weaver also scored for the Lancers, who remain unbeaten at 4-0.
LaVille hosts South Bend Riley on Thursday.

Crump leads Falcons in win over Culver
Alex Crump scored four goals and assisted on another as John Glenn beat Culver 6-1 at home Tuesday.
James Frey scored twice with a pair of assists, while Ben Drzewiecki, Ian Stull and Rafael Castro all had assists for the Falcons.
Jordan Sanders scored Culver’s lone goal in the 35th minute.
Glenn will play at Elkhart Memorial Thursday, while Culver will host Bremen the same day.

Girls golf
Glenn golfers defeat Mishawaka
John Glenn edged Mishawaka in a close match at Indiana National 249-258. Aubri Young led the Cavemen with a 55 for medalist on the night, but the Falcons’ team score was enough for the victory.
Freshman Morgan Eggleston led the home team with a 57, followed by Taylor Hines at 61. Anna Dunn carded a 63, while Madeleine Silvey had a 68, and Presley Gee turned in a 72.
Glenn will take a 5-5 record to Rozella Ford on Thursday for a match with Northern State Conference foes Triton and Knox.
