Plymouth wins home invite
Two of Plymouth’s top four placed in the top five, and the Lady Pilgrims won their home invitational Wednesday at the Plymouth Country Club with a score of 368.
Lauren Rearick was second overall with an 86, while teammate Emily Berger shot an 88 in fourth place individually for Plymouth. Morgan Oberley shot a 94, and Emily Denny carded a 100 for the Pilgrims.
John Glenn finished in fifth place at the nine-team meet, meanwhile, as Emma Reese led the team with a 101 followed by Morgan Eggleston’s 109, Kaylee Matz’s 110, and Presley Gee’s 114.

LaVille finishes 5th at Caston Invitational
LaVille finished fifth at the Caston Invitational with a 478, and Knox was eighth with a 537.
The Lady Lancers were led by Lauren Read, who carded an 85 to finish two strokes off the lead in second place individually. Shayla Eggert shot a 119, Whitney Brown recorded a 126, and Casey Turak shot a 148.
Knox was paced by Sarah Coad’s 124, while Taylor Kemble shot a 129, Kourtney Wagner shot a 140, and Kendrick Johnson turned in a 144.

Carpenter moves up at Stonehenge
Quentyn Carpenter shaved two strokes off his first round score with a 73 at Stonehenge Golf Club to move to 6 over after two rounds of the American Junior Golf Association’s Stonehenge Junior Open Wednesday.
The Triton senior’s round moves him up five places on the leaderboard and puts him in an 11-way tie for 40th place with a score of 148 at the big meet, which features 108 boys from across the country and Canada and concludes today.
