PCC moves to 6-0 in Ryder Cup series with Maplecrest
In the recent Ryder Cup challenge between the Plymouth Country Club and the Maplecrest Country Club, Plymouth topped its adversaries 186.5-173.5.
Twenty players participated from each side, playing individual matches with each match consisting of 18 points — one point per hole. The leading points-getters for Plymouth were John Ruff and Kent Naylor.
It was the sixth match of the Ryder Cup challenge, and Plymouth is now 6-0 in the series. Rob Carlson has gone undefeated through all six matches for PCC.
Along with Ruff, Naylor and Carlson, other Plymouth Country Club team members were Jim Beckham, Paul Martindale, Steve Hissong, Mike Galt, Greg Scheetz, Trent Newcomb, Jim Galt, Brad Parkhurst, George Blackburne, Shawn Reed, Justin Murphy, John Hampton, Greg Renz, Pat Bailey, Louis Plumlee, Chris Tilbury and Andrew Morris.
PCC retains the traveling Ryder Cup Bench trophy with the win.
