Eagles shoot down Forest Hills
Riley Thompson had a hat trick by the 7:56 mark of the first period, and the Culver Military Academy prep boys lacrosse team dominated Forest Hills 24-1 at home Friday night.
Thompson scored four goals in the first period and went on to finish the game with six goals and an assist as one of four Eagles with a hat trick in the rout.
Zach Currier scored four goals with four assists, Joel Tinney scored three times with an assist, and Colin Courtney had an old-fashioned hat trick with three straight scores in the final period.
McKenzie Dawson notched a pair of goals and five assists, and Pierre Byrne and P.J. Bogle each scored twice with an assist as CMA out-shot the visitors by a 34-5 shots on goal margin.
Nic Peterson finished with four saves in goal for the Eagles, who moved to 6-1 on the season.
