Girls diving
Holmquest closes career at Mishawaka Regional
Plymouth senior Alayna Holmquest closed out her high school career with a disappointing 15th-place finish at the Mishawaka Girls Diving Regional Tuesday.
Holmquest scored a 214.3 to fall short of a top eight finish and state berth at the meet.
Khalela El-Naggar of Valparaiso won the competition with a score of 411.6.
Holmquest advanced to the Mishawaka Regional after finishing second at the Warsaw Sectional Saturday with a score of 274.1.

St. Joe eliminates Glenn
Michelle Weaver scored 29 points for St. Joseph’s and the Lady Indians handed John Glenn a 58-39 Sectional 19-opening loss at New Prairie Tuesday.
St. Joe moves on to play Plymouth Friday at 6 p.m. in a rematch of a regular season game Jan. 31.
Glenn was led by eight points from Kyler Columbia, while Lauren Vukovits put up seven in the loss, which closes out the Falcons’ season at 4-17.

Jr. high wrestling
Lincoln moves to 3-0 with win over Urey
The Lincoln Junior High wrestling team won 101-15 on Tuesday at home against Urey Middle School to move to 3-0 on the season.
Three wrestlers recorded pinfall wins for Lincoln as eighth grader Jeremy Splix earned a pinfall win at 132 pounds and sixth graders Zane Devault and Kevin Sibal notched pitfalls at 72 and 84 pounds, respectively.
Lincoln travels to Warsaw on Thursday.
