Bremen loses to West Noble
Bremen took an 18-13 lead at the first quarter break but couldnâ€™t hold on in a 62-56 home loss to West Noble Thursday.
Ethan Pike scored 15 and Ben Hueni had 12 for the Lions, while West Noble was led by a game-high 20 points from Nick Thomas.
Bremen slipped to an 0-2 start to the season and will travel to South Central (Union Mills) Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

CMA stays perfect vs LaVille
Culver Military Academy won seven matches by pinfall and nine total matches in a 52-24 dual meet victory over visiting LaVille at the Academies Thursday.
Kayla Miracle, Carlos Salinas, Anthony McHugh, Pascal Brun, Edward Hogan, Edmond Hogan and Collin Parker all scored pinfall victories for the Eagles, who remained unbeaten on the year at 11-0.
Garrett Leed scored LaVilleâ€™s lone pinfall win in 2:28 at 195 pounds.

Bremen wins at Knox
Knox forfeited five weight classes, and Bremen coasted to a 51-28 win over the host Redskins Thursday.
Dillon Shumaker, Ben Thornton and Abraham Hall all won pinfall victories for the Lions, who moved to 5-7.
Kevin Land, Cody Wielgos and Nathan Lynch scored pitfalls for Knox, while Garrett Majchrzak won a major decision at 160.

Pilgrims fall to Redskins
Plymouth managed wins in just three events as the Pilgrims sustained a 105-81 Northern Lakes Conference loss to visiting Goshen Thursday.
Elliot Eads won the 50 free, Jared Hill finished first in the 500 freestyle, and Tom Serf topped the field in the breast stroke.
Plymouth travels NLC opponent Warsaw next Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.

Plymouthâ€™s girls swim team lost a Northern Lakes Conference decision to visiting Goshen, 117-61 at home Thursday.
The Lady Pilgrims will return to NLC action next Tuesday at Warsaw. Meet time is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

Lincoln earns 10th win
The Lincoln eighth grade boys basketball team picked up its 10th win on Thursday night and handed Rochester its first loss on the season, defeating the Zebras 43-31. Â
The Red Storm (10-1) built an eight-point halftime lead and kept the Zebras from running in the second half. Jack Barron led the Red Storm with 15 points and five rebounds, and Braydon Davidson added eight points and four rebounds. Matt Friar and Sam Stone chipped in 11 and five points respectively. Â
The Red Storm travels to Bourbon on Monday night to battle the Trojans, and the B-team hosts a four-way tournament on Saturday.

Holy Cross loses to Davenport
Holy Cross lost a 105-57 game at home against undefeated Davenport Michigan Thursday.
Culver Community graduate Zoe Bauer scored five points with three rebounds in the loss, as Holy Cross slipped to 2-7.
